Practicum in
Adapted Physical Activity

Course Description

KIN 867 is designed for graduate students who need experience working with persons who have disabilities. Practicum sites include public school, disability sports, personal training, and physical therapy settings. Placements are negotiated between the student and the MSU instructor, Dr. Gail M. Dummer. Semester FS, SS, and US of every year
Credits Variable from 1 to 4
Reenrollment Maximum of 4 credits in all enrollments
Restrictions Approval of department

Enrollment

Complete the Application to Enroll in Variable-Credit Courses form, obtain Dr. Dummer's signature, and submit the signed form to the department office. Negotiate a placement with Dr. Dummer and prepare a practicum contract (see course materials below).
