Internship in Kinesiology

Course Description

Master's degree students are required to complete a "capstone" experience as part of their degree programs. The Internship in Kinesiology is one of four options (thesis, project, internship, courses only + certifying exam). Students who elect the internship option complete a supervised internship in fields such as sports medicine, athletic administration, coaching, or education. To satisfy KIN degree requirements, the student must successfully propose, implement, and defend the internship activities and reports according to the M.S. Plan B Internship Option Policy.

Semester FS, SS, and US of every year
Credits Variable from 1 to 6
Reenrollment Maximum of 6 credits in all enrollments
Restrictions Open only to KIN graduate students
