KIN 995
Research Practicum in Kinesiology

Course Description

KIN 995 is a supervised research practicum in which doctoral students acquire skills in the design, execution, analysis, presentation, critique, and revision of research projects. The Ph.D. degree requirements specify that KIN doctoral students must complete a 1-3 credit research practicum that is approved by the student's guidance committee. A variety of experiences may be proposed, including an original research project, apprenticeship on a faculty research project, collaborative research with another student, grant writing, etc.  KIN 995 students should consult the Guidelines on Student/Faculty Collaboration in Research.

Credits Variable from 1 to 3
Reenrollment Maximum of 3 credits in all enrollments
Restrictions Open only to doctoral students in the College of Education, approval of department
