Student Responsibilities
In general, students must propose the objectives, learning
activities, and evaluation plans for a variable-credit course in writing.
This proposal must be approved by an instructor who is a member of the KIN
faculty and by the student's academic advisor.
Students can view sample objectives, learning activities,
and evaluation plans included in the KIN 493 course
materials and the
advising
materials developed for master's degree students in the coaching, sport
administration, and student-athlete development concentrations.
Students who are proposing a
doctoral research practicum,
doctoral dissertation,
master's degree internship,
master's degree project, or
master's degree thesis must
comply with the relevant KIN policies.
Restrictions
Students are advised that a limited number of variable-credit
courses may be counted toward the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees. Varsity athletes also have restrictions related to enrollment in
variable-credit courses. Consult with your academic advisor for more information.
