Visitation Program

Do you meet these requirements?

bullet

Interest in pursuing doctoral study in the Department of Kinesiology at Michigan State University

bullet

One of the following:
bullet

A total score of 1100+ points on the verbal and quantitative sections and an analytical score of 4.5 or higher on the "new" GRE

bullet

A total score of 1700+ points on the three sections of the "old" GRE

The 2007 Doctoral Student Visitation Program is scheduled for November 8-9, 2007. The application deadline is October 5, 2007.

You may be eligible for our Doctoral Visitation Program. We will be inviting selected prospective doctoral students on an expense paid trip to visit the Department of Kinesiology at Michigan State University on November 8-9, 2007. During this visit prospective students will meet with faculty, learn more about the KIN doctoral program, and see the MSU community.

To qualify for an invitation for this program, you must submit the following information:

Official or student copies of transcripts

Statement regarding your academic and career goals

bullet

Resume

bullet

Completed Doctoral Visitation Application Form

You are strongly encouraged to submit an application for admission to MSU (http://grad.msu.edu/apply.htm) prior to the Doctoral Visitation Program. A submitted application facilitates consideration for major multi-year MSU fellowships and scholarships, which typically have application deadlines of December 1. 

Materials must be received by the Graduate Studies Secretary by October 5. It is also strongly recommended that you contact a faculty member within your desired area of study as part of this process. Candidates will be notified about an invitation to this weekend in mid-late October.
