Provide Scholarships
to KIN Students
KIN Students Need Your Support!
The costs of tuition, room and board, and textbooks
are always increasing for KIN students. Your contributions to new or
existing scholarships can help ease that burden. Read what one student
has to say:

Scholarship Donors:
I am writing this
letter on behalf of scholarship recipients in the Department of
Kinesiology. During my undergraduate and graduate education at
Michigan State University I received the Sarah Palmer and Tarbell
Scholarship Fund Award and the College of Education Kinesiology
Fellowship, respectively. I am grateful to the donors of these
awards, as their monetary stipends assisted me in several ways.
The money from these awards helped me to focus on my education by:
helping to pay for textbooks, limiting the amount of outside
employment I needed to support my tuition and cost of living, as
well as helping reduce the cost of extensive literature searching
for my research. I thank the donors for their contributions in
support of students in the department. Someday I hope to
reciprocate their generosity by becoming a donor myself.
Sincerely,
Cooker Candace D. Perkins |
Create a New Scholarship
New scholarships for KIN undergraduate
and graduate students are always welcome. Contact
Dr. Deborah Feltz, KIN
Department Chairperson, to discuss your ideas about creating new
scholarships.
Contribute to an Existing Scholarship
The
Department of Kinesiology is indebted to the alumni and faculty
members whose generous donations have made the following
scholarships and assistantships available to our students. We invite
contributions from alumni and friends to continue these scholarships
and/or to increase the amount of funding so that awards can be
larger or that more students can be supported. Click on the links
below to learn more about a scholarship, about student recipients,
and about the award donor. Contact
Dr. Deborah Feltz, KIN
Department Chairperson, to discuss your contributions to these
scholarships. |
