bullet Resources for Teaching and Learning. The Graduate School has assembled this general guide to university-wide academic resources.
bulletBy Degrees. This newsletter series produced by the Graduate School provides answers to challenges faced by both master's and doctoral students.
bulletGraduate student workshops. The Graduate School offers workshops on topics such as completing a dissertation/thesis, writing a dissertation/thesis, navigating the PhD, setting expectations and resolving conflicts, communicating your message, responsible conduct of research, the teaching assistant program, and career selection and professional skill development.
bulletProfessional development resources. The Graduate School web site provides resources that can help you develop and present a strong curriculum vita/resume, make the most of your graduate experience, prepare a portfolio that documents your professional experiences, search for jobs, and prepare for job interviews.
bulletCareer services. The MSU Career Services and Placement Office provides career services and guidance to graduate students.
bulletWriting Center. The MSU Writing Center offers support to graduate students who need help with writing, including one-on-one help, graduate student writing groups, and workshops related to writing theses and dissertations.
bulletEnglish Language Center. The English Language Center provides instruction to international students who need to improve their English language skills before beginning academic course work.
bulletOffice of International Students and Scholars. Advisors who are aware of the demands associated with studying, working and living in another country are available to assist international students and scholars and their families in matters related to their immigration status, employment, housing, health insurance, medical care, social security, income tax regulations, financial aid, and personal concerns.
bulletResource Center for Persons with Disabilities. RCPD provides services and accommodations to students who have disabilities.
