2007 College of Education Updates

CEP 932 - Quantitative Methods I

Doctoral students in the College of Education (including KIN students) are required to complete CEP 932 - Quantitative Methods in Educational Research I. Students who have completed similar courses at other institutions or in other departments often seek a waiver of this requirement.

Effective Fall Semester 2007, the Measurement and Quantitative Methods (MQM) faculty will implement a new policy for determining course equivalencies/waivers (e.g., CEP 932, 933).  Students who seek a waiver must successfully complete an examination administered by the MQM faculty. This exam will be offered twice a year, graded by the MQM faculty and will form the basis for the decision.

Links to the student application to take the exam, the decision reporting form, and a sample CEP 932 course syllabus are provided below.
