Internship in Kinesiology

Course Description

A minimum of three credit hours of internship are required for students in the exercise science emphasis area in the Bachelor of Science Program.  Students must work 80 hours for each credit earned.  Students must have completed KIN 310 and KIN 411 prior to the internship experience.  There is no possibility for internship credit for prior work experience.  Click on the menu items below for further information about the internship experience.  Students may also contact Dr. Joe Eisenmann at 432-5105 or jce@msu.edu.

Semester FS, SS, and US of every year
Credits Variable from 2 to 6
Reenrollment Maximum of 6 credits in all enrollments
Restrictions Open only to KIN majors
Approval of department

Enrollment

Complete the Application to Enroll in Variable-Credit Courses form, obtain Dr. Eisenmann's signature, and submit the signed form to the department office. Negotiate an internship placement with Dr. Eisenmann and prepare a internship proposal (see course materials below).
