Issues Related to Governance

	Should sport organizations for athletes with disability be organized by disability (e.g., one organization devoted to sport programs for athletes with a certain disability) or by sport (e.g., a single organization responsible for athletes with disabilities in a particular sport)?
	Who should be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating disability sport programs and events? Experts in sports? Experts in disability? Athletes/participants in the program? All of these groups or some combination of them?
	To what extent should decisions about disability sports be made by people with a disability and by current or recently retired athletes with a disability? What is the most effective way of mentoring athletes with a disability for leadership roles?
	What is the best model of funding disability sports? Dues and membership fees? Private donations? Corporate support? Government support? Or some combination of these funding sources?
